MODEL OVERVIEW
About this model: GE WSLP1100DWH
WSLP1100DWH portable washer: the linked manual explains FF, dr, Ub, Lo, Po, IE and normal 2h display states.
Portable WSLP1100 and its code display
WSLP1100DWH is the portable version of GE's Spacemaker extra-large top-load washer, finished in white with a stainless-steel basket. The exact GE product record lists ten cycles, four water levels, three wash/rinse temperature choices, two removable lint filters and included fill and drain hoses. The official PDF cover names both WSLP1100 and stationary WSLS1100; page thirteen separately identifies the one-faucet connections for portable WSLP1100. That distinction matters when checking the hoses. Pages five and six describe their shared electronic control with a small TIME REMAINING display, and page six explicitly says the same display shows status indicators. The rendered page seventeen then supplies the codes applicable to that panel. Thus the codes are more than generic troubleshooting words: they are labeled display states in the product-linked manual. This exact SKU also has roller locks for moving it. Its portable connection instructions must not be replaced by the stationary model's fixed-plumbing steps, even though both models use the same operational status table.
FF, dr and Lo: water path and lid
On this display, FF is a real fill alert. The guide says it appears with a sound when a started cycle has not filled the basket within sixty minutes. Check that the incoming faucet is open and that the fill hose is neither blocked nor kinked. For the portable one-faucet setup, page thirteen adds a locking-collar faucet connector, an included water filter and a hose attached to the blue cold inlet; the hot inlet keeps its plastic cap. Those details make a disconnected or restricted portable supply a practical first check before assuming a valve failure. The dr code is different: it says water is not draining, so check the rear drain hose for correct attachment and bends; the troubleshooting page also limits the outlet height to less than eight feet. Lo reports an unclosed lid. Close it before expecting agitation, since the operating page says a raised lid sounds a signal and prevents that motion. Each display message points to a different part of the wash path, and none should be confused with the normal moving agitator before automatic filling.
Ub, Po, IE and the normal 2h
Two other codes concern completion and load distribution. Ub means the load is unbalanced; spread garments evenly in the basket and verify that the portable machine stands level. The manual's noise guidance says to pause, rearrange and restart after a lopsided load. Po means power did not switch off automatically at cycle end; press POWER ON/OFF as the status table directs. IE has different advice: switch off and call for service, without assuming that its two letters identify a particular failed component. The seventh display, 2h, is not a fault. It appears whenever the total required time exceeds ninety-nine minutes. Load Sensing may first rotate the agitator before water enters, then measure load size, select fill amount and calculate wash duration. A longer estimate or 2h therefore needs context, not an invented error explanation. Keep the exact capitalization of FF, Po, dr, Ub, Lo, IE and 2h when seeking help, because changing a character changes which instruction on page seventeen applies.
Care and one-faucet use
The portable format also changes routine care. GE says the two removable basket-wall lint filters should be cleaned weekly, unlike a dryer lint screen cleaned every load. The drawer dispenses detergent and liquid fabric softener, while a separate bleach compartment dilutes measured liquid chlorine bleach; never pour undiluted bleach directly on clothing. Load dry garments loosely below the basket's top row of holes so they can move in the selected water level. Automatic Load Sensing chooses water and time; Rinse Only addresses detergent residue, Spin Only extracts water, Quick Wash is for one or two lightly soiled items, and Delicates defaults to cold/cold. With a single-faucet hook-up, adjust water mix and temperature at the tap; GE describes a separate kit for dual-faucet connections. When disconnecting the portable hose, the manual says turn off water and release pressure with the red button first. These ordinary controls and upkeep steps are useful after resolving a code, but they do not override the specific FF, dr, Ub or IE instructions.
